Our headquarters are in a 17,000 square foot facility located just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Our History
Milestones of Micro Endeavors’ and Microsoft's Partner History  

  • The company was founded in 1983 during the early years of the personal computer industry. We made our initial mark doing custom software development for area firms such as Prism and Rhorer Pharmaceuticals.
  • Co-founder, George Goley, was an early champion of standards and methodologies for the new breed of software developers. He published several articles in various industry publications and wrote the first book on FoxPro development for Fox Software.
  • The Micro Endeavors development team was a featured speaker at the first Microsoft Fox Developers Conference in 1989.
  • Mobil choose Micro Endeavors to write the Mariner project, the world's largest FoxPro application. More than 100 vessels at sea and LANs on 3 continents share information via satellite and WAN connections to control billions of barrels of oil and natural gas that Mobil ships annually. 
  • Micro Endeavors, Inc. began offering application developer training.
  • Micro Endeavors developed industry standard benchmarks for Microsoft, Borland and Computer Associates in 1993. The publication of these benchmarks resulted in several large development and training contracts, as well as increased visibility in the database industry.
  • Micro Endeavors had three featured speakers at the 1992 Microsoft Developers Conference.
  • Upon the requisition of Fox Software by Microsoft, Micro Endeavors trained Microsoft employees in 1992.
  • When Microsoft needed a training expert to author Microsoft University's FoxPro and Access courseware, they turned  to Micro Endeavors. Further, Micro Endeavors supported Microsoft in producing a nationwide FoxPro and Access training tour. 
  • Micro Endeavors partnered with Microsoft as a Microsoft Solution Provider, and as a Certified Technical Education Center. 
  • Micro Endeavors authored Creating FoxPro Applications, which was later published by Que.
  • Micro Endeavors spoke at the national Microsoft Tech Ed Conference
  • Micro Endeavors authored Creating Access Applications and the book was published by Que.
  • Micro Endeavors and Microsoft jointly sponsored a 22 city National Developer Tour on Visual FoxPro beginning.
  • Micro Endeavors development team completed the largest client/server application using Microsoft developer tools and platforms integrating FoxPro DOS and Visual Basic for the Bank of Mexico.
  • Micro Endeavors was promoted to Microsoft Partner status by being recognized as a Microsoft Solution Provider Partner and a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center Partner. 
  • Micro Endeavors and Microsoft jointly sponsored a 14 city National Developer Tour on Visual Studio for the Visual Basic Developer.
  • Micro Endeavors and Microsoft jointly sponsored a 14 city National Developer Tour on Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro and SQL Server.
  • Micro Endeavors licensed the Skills 2000 developer curriculum to Microsoft.
  • Micro Endeavors received the Solution Provider award from Microsoft as one of the top three Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers worldwide for our "Excellence in Training".
  • Micro Endeavors connected the world of developers at our five National Developer Conferences where we mentored and educated technologist on such products as Windows 2000, Visual Basic, SQL Server 2000, Visual FoxPro and ASP.
  • Micro Endeavors aligned with Pennsylvania school districts implementing the Skills 2000 developer courses into their high school curriculum.
