Senior Developer: .NET / T-SQL - Contract in Chadds Ford, PA area
Our project team seeks to add a well rounded resource to assist us in Phase 2 of the development of an Inventory Management Application. This is a contract role, which should begin in early April and last for approximately 3-6 months.
Overview: Re-write of Supply Chain application (Products, Inventory, Forecasts, Orders) from Microsoft Excel to Microsoft .NET WPF/SQL-Server desktop application. Perform in an Application Developer role utilizing standard development tools/methodologies centered around Visual Studio 2010 (WPF) and 2008 (SSIS), as well as SQL Server 2005 (upgrade to 2008 is imminent) Management Studio.
Competencies: WPF development, Transact SQL development (both DDL and DML), SSIS package development
Approxiate work breakdown:
Transact SQL DDL/DML - 75%
WPF .NET development - 20%
SSIS package development - 5%

IT Project Manager (SDLC) - Full time or Contract-to-hire position located in Philadelphia, PA
Position Overview:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, validation and documentation of assigned Information Technology projects. The IT Project Manager will work with Product Business Owners, IT Management, Application Steering Committees and User Focus Groups to identify needs, prioritize needs, plan releases and manage the production support activities for assigned applications. Working in conjunction with the application development and infrastructure staff, the IT Project Manager will develop detailed work plans for all assigned IT Projects, track actual hours, provide status reporting for each assigned project and be responsible for delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
In this role the IT Project Manager will:
- Work with User Focus Groups and IT Development staff to discover and understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
- Draft all required SDLC and validation documents and facilitate the review and approval of all documents.
- The IT Project Manager may also fulfill the role of IT Business Analyst as necessary.
- Coordinate and manage the testing process including the creation of test scripts, executing Installation Qualification scripts, executing Operation Qualification scripts and support of User Acceptance Testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including staffing, project planning, proactive risk analysis and mitigation, status reporting and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain resourced project plans in order to ensure on time and within budget delivery of projects.
- Act as the primary IT Lead for assigned business applications.
- Manage the production support activities for assigned applications.
- Participate in business development scoping efforts, capability presentations and proposal development, as needed.
- Analyze business processes, implement best practices and seek new ways to work more efficiently.
Requirements: (Knowledge, Skills, Experience):
- 5 years experience estimating, planning, tracking and managing IT projects that successfully meet timelines and budgets.
- 5 years experience managing production support for multiple applications.
- 5 years experience proactively identifying project risks, developing mitigation plans, presenting options and recommendations to management for approval, and implementing corrective action plans.
- 5 years experience working with development, business, infrastructure and testing resources in a matrix environment.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.
Quality Assurance Test Analyst - Full time position located in Philadelphia, PA
Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Test Analyst is responsible for working with the Information Technology staff to draft all required testing documents. The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for executing and coordinating the testing process including the creation of test scripts, the execution of test scripts and supporting user acceptance testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand the functional business processes.
- Follows defined validation process.
- Responsible for IT / system testing.
- Works closely with IT staff to formulate the high level testing solution.
- Responsible for supporting User Acceptance testing when appropriate.
- Responsible for tracking issues and resolutions throughout the testing process.
- Assists with the development and documentation of testing processes and procedures as necessary.
- Provide support to Information Technology staff on other internal initiatives as assigned.
Requirements: (Knowledge, Skills, Experience):
- 3-5 years experience functioning as a Quality Assurance Test Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Must have excellent analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business requirements.
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Must have very strong skills with Microsoft Office application
- Comfortable working with business users and technical teams.
- Familiarity with Automated Scripting Tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL Queries is a plus.
- Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus.
.NET / SQL / MOSS Developer - full time, internal role located in Upper Darby, PA
We are looking for a passionate technologist to help evangelize Micro Endeavors to the Mid-Atlantic region. Minimum of 10+ years experience in diverse roles and environments. Must enjoy pre-sales, speaking at industry events, and also doing hands on coding and project management. This is a growth opportunity with Micro Endeavors.
